Sculpting Hair and Beard in ZBrush
In this quick tutorial, I’ll walk you through the process sculpting a beard on a stylized character in ZBrush using custom hair brushes.
The technique is very simple but really powerful as it lets you create sculpted details (like the hair on a character) that can later be baked into a texture like a normal map.

As I mentioned in the tutorial, you can use the same brushes and the same technique to create hair or fur in your characters. It is not just a technique to create beards specifically. Here is a quick timelapse of the hair brush in action.
